About Me

Hello and welcome to my home on the web! In my late 30s, I decided to follow my nomadic spirit and quit my job as an engineer and travel the world. My wife and I sold everything we own, packed a few duffel bags, and moved across the Pacific Ocean to explore a brand new Asian horizon.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Education.  I quite enjoyed my years as an engineer, but I am now truly, truly enjoying life as a math teacher and the rewards that come with passing on knowledge to the next generation. I work with my wife at a small international school in the city of Taichung, Taiwan, where I teach middle school and high school mathematics and computers.

I have many hobbies and interests, but the ones most currently occupying my passions are: writing (fiction and non-fiction), traveling, and physical fitness. I have a great interest in the world and the fascinating people that fill it -- and I love writing about all my experiences. As well, I tend to have an imagination and I'm admittedly a bit of a math and science geek -- so some of that makes its way into my writings as well. These types of writings tend to be of the "fictional" variety!

Welcome to my website and feel free to explore more!
